First a spoon with cherry on it, and now the Twins get swept by the Yankees. If the Vikings start faltering, people are going to start hanging themselves by the cherry stem.

SRSLY tho, I was just in MPLS in June and saw no such art with my bros.

Well there you have it. There are at least 3 people who have heard of the cherry spoon. They may all have grown up within 20 miles of it, but I guess that’s what happens with internet polls.

And yes, the bean in chicago (apparently the official name is the “Cloudgate”) is indeed superior. This is a fact widely acknowledged in the national artistic community.

I hope Favre stays on the Vikings for another ten years, or until he develops rickets, whichever comes first. If I were a vikings fan, I’d probably prefer that they just snap it directly to AP and save a few million dollars, or put in someone who can throw the ball more than 10 yards through the air.

I take personal Offense to this… You live in a city full of Historic Monuments and they’re all so useful and awesome. We’ve got a spoon bridge and cherry and it’s artistically significant.

Are you saying that the Bean in Chicago is useful because it makes a funny reflection of you when you look at it?

You’re just upset that we’ve got Favre now and he’s still got it.
